Audio/Video Production

The students will be working on Ch. 1 “Set Up Adobe Audition CC” and Ch. 2 ” The Audition Interface”. In Ch. 1, the students will learn audio interface basics, macOS audio setup, Windows audio setup, testing inputs, using external interfaces, and keyboard shortcuts. In Ch. 2, the students will learn two applications in one, Audition workspaces, and to explore the interface.

The students will be working on Ch. 7 “Working with Masks”.  In Ch. 7, the students will learn to create a mask using the Pen tool, change a mask’s mode, edit a mask shape by controlling vertices and direction handles, feather a mask edge, replace the contents of a mask shape, adjust the position of a layer in 3D space to blend it with the rest of a shot, create a reflection effect, modify a mask using the Mask Feather tool, and create a vignette.

In Ch. 6, the students will learn to animate a layered Adobe Photoshop file, create an expression using the pick whip, work with imported Photoshop layer styles, apply a track matte to control the visibility of layers, animate a layer using the Corner Pin effect, apply the Lens Flare effect to a solid layer, use time remapping and the Layer panel to dynamically retime footage, and edit Time Remap keyframes in the Graphic Editor.

The students will be working on Ch. 4 ” Working with Shape Layers”.  In Ch. 4, the students will learn to create custom shapes, customize a shape’s fill and stroke, use path operations to transform shapes, animate shapes, snap layers into alignment, and use the Create Nulls From Paths panel.
