Audio/Video Production

The students will be completing Lesson 17 and Lesson 18. In Lesson 17, the students will learn to use the file menu, use the File Menu commands, make a clip offline, use the Project Manager, collect files and copy them to a new location, consolidate and transcode, create a trimmed project, render and replace, use the Link Media panel and Locate command, perform the final project management steps, open multiple projects, manage collaboration, and manage the hard drive. In Lesson 18, the students will learn to understand the export options, export single frames, export a master copy, match sequence settings, choose another codec, work with Adobe Media Encoder, choose a file format for export, configure the export, export effects, use the Source and Output panels, queue the export, look at additional options, in Adobe Media Encoder, exchange with other editing applications, and export to OMF.

In Lesson 15, the students will learn to work with an alpha channel, make compositing part of their projects, shoot videos with compositing in mind, understand essential terminology, work with the Opacity effect, keyframe opacity, work with alpha channel transparencies, color keying a green screen, preprocess the footage, use the Ultra Key effect, mask clips, use mattes the use graphics or other clips, and use the Track Matte Key effect. In Lesson 16, the students will learn to get an overview of the Essential Graphics panel, mater video typography essentials, choose a font, choose a color, adjust the kerning, set the tracking, adjust the leading, set the alignment, safe title margin, create titles, add point text, add paragraph text, styling text, change a title’s appearance, save custom styles, work with shapes and logos, create shapes, add a graphic, make text roll and crawl, work with template titles, and introduce captions.
